What you will do

• Design and ship production agent harnesses and orchestration systems on top of frontier LLMs, including tool use, sub-agents, and retrieval mechanisms.
• Establish evaluation as a first-class discipline by developing datasets from real traces, rubrics, and graders to prove performance improvements.
• Architect the data services and APIs required to integrate internal systems with customers' WMS, TMS, and ERP environments.
• Embed with customers and operators to understand supply chain workflows and translate field insights into durable product features.
• Codify repeatable deployment patterns to accelerate the rollout of new customer integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 1+ year shipping LLM or agent-based features into production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, and data models in PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and frontier model APIs.
• Track record of building in fast, ambiguous environments, ideally within vertical AI or data-product companies.
• Must be based in New York City, NY or San Francisco.
