Accounts Assistant

TL;DR

Accounts Assistant (Finance): Managing transactional finance activities across Cashbook, Purchase Ledger, and Credit Control with an accent on bank reconciliation, invoice processing, and financial accuracy. Focus on supporting systems implementation, performing data cleansing, and conducting user acceptance testing for finance software.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based near Nottingham, UK)

What you will do

• Reconcile bank and cash transactions across multiple currencies and legal entities within deadlines.
• Process large volumes of invoices accurately across multiple global companies.
• Post Direct Debits to the correct Ledger to maintain financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Team to ensure the effective completion of weekly tasks.
• Support the Systems Implementation Programme through data analysis and cleansing activities.
• Perform local user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure finance department requirements are met.

Requirements

• Broad understanding of transactional finance.
• Ability to work on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
• Methodical approach with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work on a hybrid basis at the Warhammer World site near Nottingham, UK.
