Group Financial Controller

TL;DR

Group Financial Controller (Finance): Leading the financial control function across global entities with an accent on group reporting, IFRS compliance, and complex intercompany reconciliations. Focus on shaping financial systems, driving process standardization, and supporting the Global Finance Director in audit and month-end operations.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from London or Singapore. Role is hybrid with office attendance required approximately once every two weeks.

What you will do

• Oversee group financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls across all global entities.
• Ensure accuracy of group financial results and compliance with IFRS standards.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and resolve mismatches prior to consolidation.
• Partner with the Global Finance Director to lead annual group audits.
• Drive standardization of finance processes and improve ERP systems and tools.
• Mentor and support the development of group management accountants and bookkeepers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Financial Controller or in group consolidation within multi-entity international groups.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is required.
• Strong background in group management accounting and IFRS compliance.
• Experience working across multiple time zones and collaborating with distributed teams.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
• Must be based in London or Singapore.
