What you will do

• Act as a trusted business partner for marketing, loyalty (Clubcard), and customer propositions from concept to execution.
• Advise on all aspects of marketing campaigns, pricing, promotions, and consumer protection law.
• Draft and manage ASA complaints and supervise the day-to-day work of the marketing paralegal.
• Lead intellectual property protection, including portfolio management and dispute resolution (hard and soft IP).
• Draft and negotiate IP aspects of commercial contracts, including sponsorship agreements.
• Drive legal transformation initiatives and the integration of AI within legal processes.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with strong experience in marketing and consumer protection law.
• Proven experience in intellectual property portfolio management and dispute work.
• Experience gained at a top-tier law firm or in-house.
• Ability to simplify complex issues and work efficiently under pressure with a high-volume workload.
• Strong communication skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach to stakeholder engagement.
