IT Asset Analyst (ServiceNow)

Location: Columbus, OH, United States; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements with stakeholders.
• Improve processes and maintain workflows, procedures, and process models for IT asset disposition, lost or stolen devices, and theft investigations.
• Monitor more than 100,000 assets across acquisition, deployment, tracking, recovery, disposition, and retirement.
• Support ServiceNow and related asset management platforms through design, implementation, testing, training, and post-deployment support.
• Support hardware and software audits, asset compliance, inventory accuracy, data privacy, and IT governance requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects, communicate risks and deliverables, and work with internal teams, customers, vendors, and global site contacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in business analysis, IT asset management, IT operations, or a related discipline.
• Ability to document business requirements, workflows, process maps, and system specifications.
• Experience with ServiceNow and vendor-managed asset management tools.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills using Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and related technologies.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise-scale IT asset management environments.
• Knowledge of hardware lifecycle management, asset disposition, inventory controls, and audit compliance.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, governance frameworks, and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience supporting global operations and geographically dispersed teams.
