What you will do

• Oversee revenue accounting from contract execution to cash collection in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage and optimize the Order-to-Cash (OTC) ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration between Salesforce, NetSuite, and billing systems.
• Lead the transformation and automation of revenue-related processes to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls.
• Review customer contracts and commercial arrangements to determine appropriate accounting treatment and revenue recognition.
• Partner with Tax, Legal, FP&A, and external auditors to ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
• Establish and monitor end-to-end controls over commissions, credit notes, and impairment calculations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Revenue Controls, Revenue Accounting, or OTC functions.
• Strong expertise in revenue recognition principles under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Practical experience with ERP (NetSuite) and CRM (Salesforce) systems.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to take full ownership of critical financial processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with a Big Four accounting firm in Audit or Advisory.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or ACA.
• Knowledge of SaaS, cloud, or usage-based recurring revenue business models.
• Experience working in high-growth, multinational technology organizations.
