What you will do

• Architect and develop APIs used by consuming applications.
• Support data ingest applications and matching services for data scientists and analysts.
• Collaborate with data ingestion teams and provide system and architectural support.
• Implement backend Java code, conducting unit and integration testing for production environments.
• Perform schema updates and manage Lucene queries within Solr or Elasticsearch.
• Tune Solr/Elasticsearch for optimal performance and query efficiency.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph Required day 1.
• Demonstrated experience with Solr or Elasticsearch, including sharding and schema updates.
• Experience in big data environments using Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, and HBase.
• Hands-on backend Java development experience with a focus on code reviews and testing.
• College degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree.

Nice to have

• Experience working with various AWS services.
• Experience with JIRA and GitHub.
