Production Engineer

What you will do

• Monitor daily production operations to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase yield and throughput.
• Provide immediate technical support to resolve equipment and process issues on the production line.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and local EHS regulations.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and optimize production costs.
• Collaborate with R&D and Maintenance teams for equipment installation and New Product Introductions.
• Analyze production data such as OEE, yield, and scrap rates to generate performance reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience as a Production or Manufacturing Engineer in a high-volume environment.
• Native proficiency in Korean and professional working proficiency in English.
• Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience in the chemical industry.
• Experience working in a multinational corporation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar engineering software.
