What you will do

• Develop and maintain a high-scale transit schedule system handling hundreds of thousands of daily departures.
• Design backend booking logic for seat allocation, vehicle swaps, and complex reinforcement scenarios.
• Build dynamic revenue management systems supporting automated pricing and A/B testing.
• Evolve the data transformation layer to ensure robust, incremental pipelines and clear semantic definitions.
• Improve development workflows, including CI/CD, testing strategies, and AI-assisted tooling.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• Several years of experience building and operating backend services in Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous workflows.
• Deep database expertise including transaction management, ACID guarantees, and query optimization.
• Proven ability to own the full software lifecycle from design and deployment to monitoring and maintenance.
• Fluent in English with strong written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration.
• Experience translating ambiguous requirements into pragmatic, high-impact technical solutions.
