What you will do

• Continuously improve reliability and performance of hirify.global core.
• Improve and create metrics and alerts to identify and prevent production issues before they affect customers.
• Investigate common customer problems in hirify.global core, identify root causes, and submit bug fixes and issue reports.
• Enhance incident response and blameless post-mortem analysis for core outages, coordinating communication with support and cloud teams.
• Plan, enable, and drive chaos initiatives across engineering teams.
• Manage on-call processes, coordinate escalations, and establish best practices to minimize customer impact.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work remotely from the United Kingdom, Germany, or the Netherlands.
• 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, QA, or customer-facing engineering.
• Experience operating hirify.global or other SQL databases in production.
• Strong understanding of distributed database internals and SQL (hirify.global experience is a major plus).
• Scripting experience with Shell or Python, and ability to read and understand C++ code.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; strong production debugging and problem-solving skills.
