What you will do

• Produce monthly reporting on UK DVR and BMR performance, providing commentary on key drivers and risk mitigation.
• Maintain and develop models and systems for risk analysis and quantitative valuation of structured trades.
• Collaborate with Origination and Portfolio Structuring teams to explore deals mitigating weather and CfD risks.
• Develop risk-mitigating proposals based on wholesale market changes and business process identification.
• Provide independent risk oversight and challenge to hedging, purchasing, and pricing analysis.
• Line manage one Analyst.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience in a numerical discipline.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, ideally with VBA, C++, and Python experience.
• Expertise in statistical techniques including regression modelling, Monte Carlo simulations, stochastic modelling, option theory, and delta hedging.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and scope own work.
