What you will do
- Design, deploy, and maintain RHEL systems across development, staging, and production environments.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and AWX workflows to automate operational tasks.
- Manage Red Hat Satellite for content lifecycle, provisioning, and patch management.
- Drive automated security patching and ensure compliance with CIS benchmarks and DISA STIGs.
- Implement role-based access controls, audit logging, and system integrity monitoring.
- Support infrastructure requirements for low-latency financial applications and performance tuning.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of hands-on Linux systems engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in RHEL 7/8/9 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Strong understanding of Linux security fundamentals (SELinux, firewalld, PAM).
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite and automated patching workflows.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, VLANs).
Nice to have
- Experience in low-latency or high-frequency trading (HFT) environments.
- Knowledge of real-time kernel configuration and tuning.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-assisted operations tools.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift or containerized workloads.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks like PCI-DSS or NIST.
