What you will do

• Implement software packages and provide application support at customer sites.
• Respond to and troubleshoot all customer software issues for G+D SWS products, ensuring resolution within contracted SLA times.
• Set up and configure test environments to duplicate issues and assist in preparing customer communication reports.
• Troubleshoot and identify customer software issues, escalating to the R&D team if code changes are required.
• Lead implementation activities at customer sites and provide software training as needed.
• Document all issues in the tracking system and create necessary support/training documentation.

Requirements

• Computer Science or related degree.
• 4+ years’ experience in a customer support role, with prior experience in banking or warehousing industry being desirable.
• Proficient in installing, configuring, and administering IBM WebSphere Application Server 9.x (WAS), Jboss EAP 7.x, and IIS.
• Experience with war/ear application deployment in Java EE environments and .NET application installation.
• Strong SQL and database administration skills (MS SQL 2012, Oracle 12C), including backup/restore.
• Deep understanding of JDBC, JMS, networking standards/protocols (DHCP, DNS, SSL, TCP, UDP, FTP, SFTP, IP), and LDAP.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills are a must.
