What you will do
- Own overall claims handling for the Gadget/MPAR category, ensuring review and payment meet client SLA targets.
- Ensure aftersales vendors run effectively in the claims workflow (Service Center, Logistics Providers, and others as needed).
- Lead and control daily activities of the Claims Analyst team to resolve claims within SLA and category guidelines.
- Create weekly and monthly client/insurer claim loss ratio performance reports for the Gadget/MPAR category.
- Maintain relationships with insurer claims teams to ensure smooth claim handling flow and negotiate on behalf of customers.
- Run daily morning briefings on pending claim statuses, incoming claims, and backlog; evaluate and improve current claims SOPs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any major, or at least 3 years of experience in a claims team leader role for the gadget/electronics/Movable All Risks (MPAR) category.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on fulfilling customer needs and claim queries.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle schedule variance, including shifting schedules and weekend availability.
- Proven ability to maintain relationships with insurer claims teams and negotiate strongly on customers’ behalf.
