What you will do

• Prepare and execute engine and component-level tests to evaluate hardware performance.
• Develop test plans, objectives, and schedules while leading daily test operations.
• Perform risk assessment analyses and define mitigation actions to ensure personnel and hardware safety.
• Interpret P&IDs and generate test sequences based on test bench and article limits.
• Collaborate with development, AIT, and test bench teams to support operations.
• Process test data to guide current and future test campaigns.

Requirements

• Nationality: Must be a national of an ESA member state, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in propulsion testing or related fields.
• Proficiency in propulsion chemistry, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with engine testing.
• Exposure to CAD software and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Nice to have

• Background in cryogenic propulsion.
• Experience with simulation tools like CEA.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
