Electrical Technician (Aerospace)

The Exploration Company develops and operates Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle designed for cargo and potentially human transport.

What you will do

• Integrate sensors, actuators, power supplies, and control systems for various propulsion test benches.
• Manufacture and verify electrical cabinets and ground/flight harnesses based on schematics.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize harness layout and routing for engines.
• Troubleshoot signals and electronic devices (DAQ, valve drivers, power supplies) and perform root cause analyses.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, debugging processes, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years of experience manufacturing wire harnesses or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Proficiency with electronics equipment including DMMs, oscilloscopes, and DAQs.
• English proficiency for effective communication with colleagues and partners.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bordeaux, France.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or other high-reliability industries.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation sizing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
