What you will do

• Perform system-level trade-offs and technical investigations for the robotic orbital station.
• Define system-level requirements, functional breakdowns, and ensure consistency across lower-level requirements.
• Coordinate technical tasks, development plans, and schedules for a team of specialist engineers.
• Lead co-engineering sessions with external partners and manage technical reviews with customers.
• Drive critical technical budgets, including mass and power.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc) in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of proven work experience in the aerospace industry, combining both team management and technical responsibilities.
• Strong technical background with hands-on engineering experience with space systems.
• Experience in early-phase development at the vehicle, spacecraft, or technology level.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Munich, Germany.

• Proficiency in German, French, or Italian.
