What you will do

• Set up and operate complete test systems, including Ground Control Station, radar, sensor units, and drones.
• Prepare and execute field-test campaigns, integration tests, and engineering experiments.
• Configure networks, IP addresses, communication links, antennas, and field computers.
• Collect and organize test logs and data, ensuring engineering teams receive necessary insights.
• Develop repeatable checklists, setup guides, teardown procedures, and safety workflows.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks, basic hardware repairs, and failure assessments.

Requirements

• Hands-on technical background in UAVs, robotics, electronics, mechanical systems, or aerospace.
• Strong practical troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networks, and sensors.
• Basic Linux and networking knowledge (IP configuration, SSH, terminals, routers).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel to test sites, including irregular hours.
• Strong sense of responsibility and discipline in safety-critical field operations.

Nice to have

• Experience flying drones, RC aircraft, or turbine-powered model aircraft.
• Experience with radio systems, telemetry, GNSS, radar, or long-range communication.
• Experience with test documentation, safety reviews, or incident reporting.
• Proficiency with batteries, high-power electronics, 3D printing, or workshop tools.
