Lead ECLSS Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the development of ECLSS components and sub-systems from concept and requirements through to flight hardware delivery.
• Design and develop test rigs and objectives to validate components and subsystems.
• Develop and validate analytical models to predict system behavior and perform component trade studies.
• Manage Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflows, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Interface Control Documents (ICD).
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and technicians to foster a culture of excellence.
• Lead technical interactions with suppliers and external stakeholders regarding procurement and acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical coordination of aerospace or spacecraft projects.
• Strong experience in design processes, trade studies, and optimization for manufacturability and reliability.
• Proven experience leading component testing campaigns and designing test rigs.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling software.
• Specific experience with ECLSS systems (pressure, air circulation, water, or atmospheric monitoring).

Nice to have

• Experience with ECSS and NASA standards.
• Familiarity with Python and GitHub.
