What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams to prepare winning proposals (ITT, RFP) and define technical architectures and roadmaps.
• Oversee the implementation of early-phase contracts (Phase 0, A, and B), ensuring objectives are met in scope, schedule, and quality.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Act as the primary interface for institutional and commercial customers during proposal and early project phases.
• Implement robust risk and opportunity management practices while monitoring financial performance and budgeting.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.
• 10+ years of proven experience in the aerospace industry with both project management and technical responsibilities.
• Strong technical background in space systems and experience in early-phase vehicle/spacecraft development.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all business levels.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Munich, Germany.
