What you will do

• Lead the electrical engineering function within the AIT department, overseeing integration and test campaigns.
• Manage and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers and Technicians, focusing on professional development and technical oversight.
• Define and maintain electrical AIT processes, standards, and best practices.
• Develop roadmaps for GSE and Command and Control frameworks.
• Provide expert technical input on system-level integration, power systems, grounding, and EMC.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex electrical integration issues on flight hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in spacecraft or aerospace electrical engineering, including hands-on AIT.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Deep understanding of spacecraft electrical subsystems and integration/test practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Munich, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with environmental and functional testing (TVAC, vibration, EMC).
• Familiarity with ECSS, NASA, or MIL-STD standards.
• Experience in new space or agile hardware development environments.
• Proficiency with electrical test tools and data analysis software.
