What you will do

• Build API-first account provisioning, machine-to-machine authentication, and scoped credentials for agentic callers.
• Own and develop MCP servers and agent-first CLI tools to enable reliable LLM discovery and invocation.
• Harden the agent media path to eliminate ambiguity and silent failures during upload and processing.
• Implement instrumentation and signals to measure agent success and attribution.
• Work across a polyglot stack including Node.js/TypeScript, Ruby/Rails, and Go.
• Prototype, ship, and iterate on agent-native infrastructure in close collaboration with Product and Ecosystem teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems and APIs at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript with the ability to work in Ruby/Rails and Go.
• Deep understanding of API and protocol design, including OAuth, idempotency, and rate limiting.
• Solid instincts in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Bias for ownership and ability to scope complex problems in ambiguous environments.
• Strong written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with MCP, LLM tool/function-calling, or building agent-native products.
• Experience building SDKs, CLIs, or developer tools.
• Background in media, imaging, or video processing.
• Open-source contributions in the agent or developer-tooling ecosystem.
