What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable, high-availability backend services in a cloud-native environment.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to system architecture, API design, data modeling, and event-driven flows.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and resource usage across databases and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to the overall engineering culture and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems and end-to-end web applications.
• Strong backend development experience in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and working with microservice architectures.
• Solid experience with cloud-based environments, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and caching solutions (e.g., Redis).
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker; Kubernetes is an advantage.
