What you will do

• Own the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and workpapers.
• Manage specific focus areas: Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Customer on Account, and Security Deposits.
• Automate and streamline the monthly close using ERP systems and AI tools.
• Perform fluctuation and variance analysis to provide financial insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy for accounting.
• Assist with annual audits, tax compliance, and documentation of internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, PivotTables, Dynamic Arrays).
• Must be available to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
• Location: United States.

Nice to have

• CPA designation or actively working towards one.
• Prior public accounting or Big 4 experience in audit or tax.
• Experience with enterprise software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Workday.
• Proficiency with Power Query.
