Senior Release Train Engineer (Unified Communications)

Senior Release Train Engineer (Unified Communications): Leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to modernize Unified Communications for a federal law enforcement customer with an accent on migration of legacy and cloud-based communications. Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Washington D.C.

Salary: $155,649 – $172,253 per year

What you will do

• Lead and facilitate ART events including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, and System Demos.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure to achieve delivery objectives.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and program-level impediments across multiple Agile teams.
• Track and report performance metrics such as velocity, predictability, and flow efficiency to stakeholders.
• Mature Agile delivery practices and provide coaching to Scrum Masters and stakeholders on SAFe principles.
• Ensure strict adherence to federal security requirements, telecommunications standards, and compliance mandates.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must possess an active TS clearance and be able to obtain SCI access and pass a CI polygraph.
• Must be based in Washington D.C. for onsite work 5 days a week.
• 10+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program management, or enterprise IT modernization.
• 3+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or Chief Scrum Master in a large enterprise.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.

Nice to have

• SAFe RTE, SPC, PMP, or Scrum Master certifications.
• Experience supporting FBI, DOJ, DHS, or other federal law enforcement environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Voice, SIP trunking, and VoIP infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and Microsoft Azure Government environments.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation in secure federal environments.
