Technical Program Manager (Defense)

TL;DR

Technical Program Manager (Defense): Leading the delivery of the radar product line with an accent on cross-functional alignment, budget management, and customer engagement. Focus on ensuring on-time delivery of contractual objectives and coordinating between engineering and government stakeholders.

Location: Must work on-site 4-5 days per week in Hawthorne, CA or Washington D.C. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required.

Salary: $160,000 - $250,000

What you will do

• Lead the full program lifecycle for the radar product line to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Coordinate efforts across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and business development for integrated execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer's COTR/Tech POC regarding contract and performance.
• Manage program budgets, resource allocation, and financial controls.
• Document and manage scope changes to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Oversee staffing and resource acquisition to ensure successful completion of the contract statement of work.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Must be able to work on-site 4-5 days per week in Hawthorne, CA or Washington D.C.
• B.S. in engineering, computer science, business, or equivalent Program Management experience.
• 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience managing complex projects of similar scope.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Nice to have

• Experience in DoD, military, or government environments.
• Active U.S. security clearance.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with KPIs, Technical Performance Measures (TPMs), systems engineering, or software integration.
• Advanced degree in a technical field.
