TL;DR

Senior Technical Program Manager (Security): Leading complex, high-priority security programs across engineering, infrastructure, and legal teams with an accent on cross-functional alignment and structured execution. Focus on driving end-to-end delivery of security initiatives, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 3 days/week on-site)

Salary: $195,000 – $215,000

What you will do

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of multi-quarter security initiatives, including IAM upgrades and vulnerability management.
  • Coordinate execution across Engineering, IT, Product, Legal, and GRC teams to ensure alignment.
  • Own program communications, including status updates, executive briefings, and key performance metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early through structured dependency and resource assessments.
  • Serve as the primary escalation channel for delivery blockers and cross-team conflicts.
  • Maintain tooling workflows in Jira, Confluence, and Airtable to support roadmap and milestone tracking.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of program management experience in an engineering-driven organization.
  • Demonstrated success executing initiatives involving security controls and compliance frameworks like PCI-DSS or NIST CSF.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and dependency management.
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work on-site in the San Francisco office at least three days per week.
