System Administrator II (Cloud) (AWS/DevSecOps): Planning, implementing, and monitoring DevSecOps pipelines for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) with an accent on cloud infrastructure and security. Focus on designing cloud-based solutions, maintaining network security tools, and ensuring the operational readiness of material-based reporting systems.
Location: Must be located within a 30-mile radius of any NIWC LANT Lab facility (Norfolk, DC area, Charleston, or NOLA)
Salary: $120,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do
- Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor full DevSecOps Pipelines.
- Design, troubleshoot, and maintain cloud-based solutions including compute instances and networking.
- Manage operational requirements for computer network systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers.
- Implement and maintain network security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection.
- Support cybersecurity and automated software testing within the AWS Cloud.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering.
- Required certifications: Security Plus and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration.
- 1+ year of experience with cloud-based solutions (networking, compute).
- Availability for weekend support as required.
Nice to have
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Microsoft Technology Associate.
- Certified SAFe Agilist.
