DevOps Engineer II (AI)

Location: Remote in the US (CT) or Canada (ON), or onsite/hybrid in Boston, MA and New York, NY. All employees must be available to attend in-person company trainings and meetings.

What you will do

• Rightsize workloads for efficient resource utilization in Kubernetes and cloud services.
• Develop, deploy, and operate new microservices within the platform.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams to drive operational excellence and review technical specifications.
• Collaborate with software developers to implement "Paved Road" solutions and DevSecOps processes.
• Support large-scale services across multiple environments and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Assist in resolving infrastructure issues ranging from network layers to application scaling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, Python, Terraform, Linux, Git, and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience building and running production software systems on Kubernetes clusters.
• Proven ability to apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for provisioning and configuration.
• Understanding of design for scalability, performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Nice to have

• CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification.
• Experience with Harness CI/CD, Artifactory, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Postgres, or Redis.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, SSL, DNS, and Load Balancers.
• Real-world experience decoupling monolithic software into smaller reusable components.
