What you will do

• Lead operations, maintenance, and repair of plastic injection molds.
• Design, develop, and validate plastic injection molds for automotive components.
• Plan preventive and predictive maintenance activities and manage critical spare parts.
• Conduct failure analysis using 5 Whys and Ishikawa methodologies.
• Optimize process parameters in collaboration with Process Engineering.
• Track and manage maintenance KPIs including MTTR, MTBF, and availability.

Requirements

• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required.
• 5+ years of experience in injection mold design and plastic injection molding processes.
• 5+ years of experience with hot runner systems.
• 3+ years of experience with plastic resins (PP, ABS, PC, Nylon).
• 3+ years of experience with flow analysis using Moldflow software.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
