Quality Director (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and execute the Quality strategy aligned with business and operational objectives.
• Lead and mentor Quality teams across multiple manufacturing sites in Mexico.
• Establish standardized quality systems, metrics, and governance processes across sites.
• Drive improvements in key quality metrics including PPM, COPQ, customer complaints, scrap, and rework.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for major quality issues.
• Partner with Supplier Quality teams to improve supplier performance and mitigate risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive Quality leadership experience within manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience in multi-site Quality leadership.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and CAPA.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience supporting automotive, electronics, or industrial manufacturing.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience within global or matrix organizations.
