Quality Director, EII (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and execute the quality strategy across multiple manufacturing sites in Mexico.
• Lead and mentor Quality teams while establishing standardized quality systems, metrics, and governance.
• Maintain QMS implementation and compliance with customer, ISO, IATF, and regulatory requirements.
• Improve PPM, COPQ, customer complaints, scrap, rework, audit performance, and manufacturing process capability.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, customer quality escalations, audits, and NPI quality readiness.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Quality, Product Development, and global leadership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive Quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading Quality across multiple sites and in complex, automotive, electronics, industrial, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and manufacturing quality processes, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Experience with customer quality escalations and executive-level communications.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.

• Master’s degree.
• Global or matrix organization experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• High-mix or high-volume manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
