Senior CAD Designer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate complex projects with clients.
• Develop parametric 3D data and concepts according to construction standards, proposing efficiency improvements.
• Create 2D drawings applying GD&T, manufacturing processes, injection molding, SMC, and thermoforming.
• Propose complex engineering solutions for plastics or sheet metal.
• Train and review work of less experienced team members.
• Communicate with clients on problems, proposals, advantages, and risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechatronic, Mechanical engineering or related.
• 10+ years of experience in automotive industry development.
• Knowledge in doors, console, and IP for Interior Trim.
• Advanced knowledge in DFMEA, DFA, DFM, GD&T, materials.
• Experience with plastic and metal parts, from concept to tooling kick-off.
• Fluent English.
