What you will do

• Manage and grow the LPL book of business, ensuring underwriting goals and revenue targets are met.
• Price LPL accounts using a deep understanding of law firm exposures and risk profiles.
• Act as a primary underwriting resource for brokers, managing communication and coverage nuances.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to develop underwriting guidelines, decision trees, and rating logic.
• Represent the company at industry events to position the firm as a thought leader in LPL.
• Provide feedback on the product roadmap to enhance digital workflows and automation.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of underwriting experience in Lawyers Professional Liability or related professional liability lines.
• Established network of brokers, carriers, or underwriters in the professional liability space.
• Expertise in specialty liability products, including rating procedures, policy forms, and endorsements.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding monthly and annual revenue targets.
• College degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Flexibility for travel (minimum once per month).
