What you will do

• Achieve and exceed underwriting performance and revenue goals for the Allied Healthcare Professional Liability segment.
• Price accounts with competitive terms based on healthcare practitioner exposures and risk dynamics.
• Serve as a primary underwriting resource for brokers regarding Allied Healthcare coverage nuances.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to develop underwriting guidelines, decision trees, and rating logic.
• Bind accounts through continuous engagement with assigned brokers to maximize efficiency.
• Represent the company at industry events and broker meetings as a thought leader.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of underwriting experience in Allied Healthcare, Healthcare Professional Liability, or related lines (Social Services, Misc E&O).
• Established network of brokers, carriers, or underwriters in the professional liability insurance space.
• Expertise in rating procedures, policy forms, applications, and coverage endorsements.
• College degree with at least 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Flexibility for travel (minimum once per month).
