Customer Solutions Design Specialist (Aruba)

TL;DR

Customer Solutions Design Specialist (Aruba): Designing and implementing complex Voice, Network, Wireless, and Security solutions for enterprise and public sector clients with an accent on the Aruba technology stack and Low Level Design (LLD). Focus on translating high-level requirements into detailed technical designs, leading technical direction, and ensuring seamless solution delivery.

Location: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote). Must be based in or able to commute to Bristol, Leeds, or Manchester (UK). Must hold or be able to achieve SC-level Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Collaborate with customers to translate technical requirements into clear, detailed solution designs using established methodologies.
• Lead the technical direction of projects to ensure optimal design that meets customer needs and aligns with best practices.
• Oversee review and validation processes for new developments to ensure seamless integration and roadmap alignment.
• Manage design engagements, including creating statements of work and coordinating third-party deliverables.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to provide expert service design guidance.
• Resolve complex solution challenges through root cause analysis and effective escalation management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in network design, specifically for enterprise or public sector clients.
• HPE Aruba certification to Associate level.
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba AOS-S, AOS-8, AOS-CX, AOS-10, Central, ClearPass, and SD-WAN.
• Ability to achieve SC-level Security Clearance.
• Agreement to a hybrid work model (3 days office, 2 days home).

Nice to have

• Experience with traditional Cisco WAN and LAN.
• Proficiency with Cisco Wireless, SDA, Catalyst Centre, and ISE.
