What you will do

• Develop and manage strategic communications plans incorporating owned, earned, paid, and social media tactics.
• Execute a yearly editorial calendar, creating and overseeing content across written, video, and audio channels.
• Lead media relations efforts to profile faculty expertise and institutional achievements in local, national, and international media.
• Provide coaching to spokespeople and develop key messages for media interviews.
• Manage the School News section of the website, ensuring content is fresh, on-brand, and optimized for search engines.
• Provide crisis and issues communications support to the Associate Director.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum five years of related professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to write media relations and editorial content strategically.
• Experience working with media and executing media relations campaigns.
• Ability to translate complex information and research into engaging public content.
