What you will do

• Coordinate external media exposure, providing enterprise-level oversight and risk management across engagements.
• Recommend media positioning for complex or high-visibility opportunities involving the CEO and senior executives.
• Manage the media pipeline and provide senior counsel on strategic opportunities.
• Develop external briefs, speaking points, editorials, and executive speeches to strengthen corporate positioning.
• Collaborate with Government Relations, Marketing, and HR to ensure disciplined external messaging.
• Lead communication responses during issues and crises to mitigate reputational risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in public relations agencies, corporate communications, or political communications.
• Bilingual proficiency with excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills in both English and French.
• Proven experience in media relation strategy and stakeholder management.
• Experience handling both international and local media relations.
• Must be based in or able to work from Montreal (St. Laurent).
