TL;DR

Data Governance Change Lead (Data Governance): Leading governance across complex data migration and transformation initiatives with an accent on embedding MDM/RDM standards and ensuring data quality. Focus on influencing stakeholders, building scalable data foundations for AI-enabled analytics, and driving measurable business value through pragmatic governance.

Location: Must be based in the UK, hybrid working with travel to hirify.global offices required.

What you will do

  • Lead governance strategies across large-scale data migration and transformation programmes.
  • Embed data governance principles into the change lifecycle and delivery work streams.
  • Define and enforce MDM/RDM standards and controls within migration activities.
  • Ensure data is catalogued, classified, and traceable across the enterprise.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and third parties to deliver quality-focused outcomes.
  • Develop automated governance processes for AI-enabled analytics.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in large-scale data migrations and transformation programmes.
  • Expert knowledge of Data Management best practices and DAMA qualification.
  • Deep understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality standards.
  • Ability to influence and guide stakeholders across complex delivery environments.
  • Experience in coaching and developing junior data management resources.
  • Must be based in the UK to comply with flexible working location policies.
