What you will do

• Lead the secure platforms engineering organization, delivering resilient and high-quality services across cloud, VCF, and containers.
• Define technical direction and engineering standards for multi-cloud services and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Act as a subject matter expert for secure hybrid platform design, assessing performance, resilience, and compliance.
• Establish scalable engineering processes for infrastructure-as-code and container pipelines.
• Identify and mitigate security risks across distributed cloud architectures and virtualized platforms.

Requirements

• DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance is required.
• Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain security clearance.
• Must be located onsite during working hours (Cheltenham, London, Manchester, or Ipswich).
• Experience in secure platform architecture covering hybrid and multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Proficiency with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Cyber Security Frameworks (NIST, Zero Trust, ISO 27001).

Nice to have

• FinOps and cloud cost governance and oversight experience.
• Integration of AI and automation into platform services.
