TL;DR

Sr. Compensation Specialist (HR): Leading job architecture and evaluation frameworks to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization with an accent on governance and strategic HR partnership. Focus on designing salary range structures, solving complex leveling challenges, and driving compensation system configuration in Workday.

Location: Hybrid - Buffalo, NY. Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Act as the technical lead for hirify.global’s job architecture and job evaluation frameworks to ensure global consistency.
  • Design and evolve governance structures, tools, and guidelines for the Career Architecture framework.
  • Lead senior-level job evaluations and provide strategic guidance on job design to support workforce planning.
  • Develop new salary range structures across the global footprint in partnership with local HR stakeholders.
  • Consult on leveling decisions and internal equity strategies during mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
  • Define system requirements for compensation programs as a subject matter expert for the HCM Workday team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Over five (5) years of experience in compensation or job architecture.
  • Expertise in job evaluation methodologies such as Mercer, Hay Group, or Willis Towers Watson.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, compensation management tools, and job evaluation software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret industry benchmarks and influence business leaders.
  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area.
