TL;DR

Head of New Client Growth (Fintech): Defining and leading the new client growth strategy for Business & Commercial Banking with an accent on digital acquisition, funnel optimization, and AI-driven customer journeys. Focus on scaling partnership channels, improving conversion rates through data-driven insights, and aligning cross-functional teams to drive measurable commercial results.

Location: Hybrid (London or Bristol), requiring at least two days per week (40%) in the office

What you will do

  • Lead the new client growth strategy, owning priorities, investment, and the delivery roadmap.
  • Optimize the end-to-end acquisition funnel from initial awareness through to onboarding and early engagement.
  • Manage digital acquisition channels including SEO, PPC, and social media to drive inbound traffic and conversion.
  • Leverage AI to automate and improve digitally led client journeys and overall customer experience.
  • Scale partnership channels and intermediaries to increase the inflow of high-quality SMB clients.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Digital teams to align priorities and deliver measurable growth outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience driving scaled customer acquisition in financial services, specifically for small and medium businesses.
  • Proven track record of delivering growth strategies and owning ROI and P&L outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing techniques and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Experience in AI product leadership and managing end-to-end digital client journeys.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to London or Bristol offices
