What you will do

• Perform system-level trade-offs and technical investigations for new space technologies.
• Define system-level requirements and ensure consistent flow-down to lower levels.
• Develop the functional breakdown of the system.
• Coordinate technical tasks among specialist engineers to align with project schedules.
• Lead co-engineering sessions with external partners, managing agendas and action items.
• Create and maintain technical budgets (mass, power, etc.) and support technical reviews.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc) in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, preferably in launch system programs.
• Proven experience in early development phases (Phase 0/A/B) and systems engineering.
• Proficiency in programming (Python, Fortran, Matlab).
• English: Fluent (C1) required.
• Location: Relocation to Munich, Germany is required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German, French, or Italian.
