What you will do

• Conduct sampling and field testing aboard ocean-going vessels, harbor craft, and land-based facilities.
• Coordinate with vessel crews and port agents to schedule site attendances.
• Transport collected samples to the laboratory for professional analysis.
• Ensure strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to prevent contamination and maintain sample integrity.
• Operate safely within port and industrial environments following all established safety protocols.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of applicable professional experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely.
• Knowledge of basic Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Dayton, NJ.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
