What you will do

• Perform routine quality control testing including mammalian and insect cell culture, ELISA, and HPLC.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain laboratory media, solutions, glassware, and equipment.
• Enter and verify test results within LIMS and SAP tracking systems.
• Evaluate test dispositions and report non-routine occurrences to QC management.
• Participate in the creation and revision of SOPs and test methods.
• Troubleshoot basic and mid-level test methods with limited guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in a related field with no experience, OR Associate degree with 2+ years of experience, OR High school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• General knowledge of biology and chemistry principles.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work independently or in a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with 9 CFR testing of veterinary biologicals.
• Proficiency with SAP and LIMS software.
• Experience with bacterial and viral inactivation assurance testing.
