Product Design Intern (Fintech)

TL;DR

Product Design Intern (Fintech): Designing and providing UX support for next-generation digital payment products with an accent on prototyping, iteration refinement, and accessibility. Focus on executing high-fidelity designs in Figma, conducting UX research, and translating stakeholder requirements into user-centric interfaces.

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada. Must be eligible to work in Canada in a full-time capacity.

Salary: $23 - $25 per hour

What you will do

• Support Product Designers with daily prototyping, iteration refinement, and design critiques.
• Create prototypes for presentations, user testing, and product development needs.
• Take ownership of design work and present concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Contribute to design initiatives for e-Transfer.
• Review and refine designs to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
• Execute design solutions in Figma and contribute to the design system.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
• Currently completing an undergraduate degree/certificate from a Canadian institution with a focus on hirify.globaltion Design, UX/UI, or a similar field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high proficiency with Figma and visual design.
• Experience with UX Research methods, including usability testing and user interviews.
• Ability to translate business and stakeholder requirements into Figma design executions.
• Strong verbal communication skills for presenting design concepts.

Nice to have

• Understanding of accessibility guidelines and best practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools for designing (e.g., Figma Make).
• Knowledge of motion graphics and microanimations.
• Experience working in Agile teams with developers and product owners.
