Location: Must be based in San Diego, CA, US (On-site role with potential for up to two days of remote work per week).
Salary: $126,750–$190,125

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain analog and digital board-level hardware and electrical modules.
- Lead technical decision-making, including trade-off studies and architecture definition within cross-functional teams.
- Act as technical lead for outsourced and co-development activities.
- Define work breakdown structures, effort estimates, and support project planning.
- Ensure design quality, compliance, and reliability through rigorous reviews and risk mitigation.
- Coach and mentor team members while transferring knowledge to production and service engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in electronic board design.
- Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design, signal integrity (SI), and power integrity (PI).
- Proficiency with high-speed communication protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, SRIO, DDR).
- Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under US Export Administration Regulations.
- Experience with PCB design tools, schematic capture, and simulation.
