Analytical Engineer (AI)

Location: Reigate, hybrid, with office attendance when required; remote flexibility is available within the UK.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data products within the data platform.
• Develop and optimise reliable, high-quality data pipelines for analytics and AI use cases.
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources while maintaining data quality, governance, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional agile squads to deliver data-driven and GenAI solutions.
• Improve analytics engineering processes, tools, and best practices across the data community.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake, ideally in AWS environments.
• Advanced programming and data engineering skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of ETL pipelines, data transformation, and end-to-end data modelling.
• Experience with performance optimisation using DBT and distributed processing frameworks such as SparkSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Collaborative approach, strong interpersonal skills, and interest in building robust, scalable data platforms.
