TL;DR
Senior Staff Engineer (AI Platform and Infrastructure): Leading the design and evolution of large-scale AI infrastructure for mission-critical ML and generative AI workloads with an accent on distributed computing and systems engineering. Focus on building scalable platforms for training, deployment, and orchestration of AI models across the organization.
Location: Hong Kong or Singapore. Applicants must have the current right to work in Singapore (sponsorship not provided).

What you will do
- Architect and build large-scale AI infrastructure for training, fine-tuning, and deployment of AI models.
- Define platform standards for distributed training, inference, and model lifecycle management.
- Design scalable systems across compute, storage, networking, and orchestration layers, including GPU clusters.
- Drive performance, reliability, and cost optimization for AI workloads at scale.
- Collaborate with AI Science and business units to translate requirements into robust platform capabilities.
- Mentor senior engineers and set technical direction for scalability, reliability, and observability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in AI Agent and RAG engineering solutions.
- Proficiency in Microservices/API development using Java/SpringBoot, Python, or Langchain.
- Strong knowledge of multi-threading, distributed architecture, and messaging frameworks like Kafka.
- Experience with various database solutions, including vector databases.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI models or multi-agentic AI systems.
- Background in high-frequency trading, fintech, Web3, or crypto platforms.
