What you will do

• Design and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls to mitigate risks and achieve desired security outcomes.
• Monitor compliance against frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC I & II, C5, and ISO 42001.
• Manage the end-to-end security evidence lifecycle to support internal and external audits.
• Research and maintain robust information security policies and standards tailored to emerging threats.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure security controls are effectively implemented and optimized.
• Foster a security-conscious culture by communicating risks and policy updates across the organization.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Information Security, IT Audit, or Compliance.
• Must be based in or able to work in Rotterdam (Hybrid).
• Solid understanding of security operations and best practices in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• In-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2 Trust principles.
• Active information security certification required (e.g., CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CompTIA Security+).
• English: C1 proficiency (excellent written and verbal skills) required.
