Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with office attendance determined by the Hiring Manager

What you will do

• Conduct threat and risk analysis and help develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Improve the security posture of entities hosted in public-cloud and on-premises environments.
• Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate risks to business leaders and engineers.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security into technology and operations.
• Develop infrastructure and platforms for automated vulnerability management and security reporting.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with cloud security services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Programming experience with Python.
• Experience deploying secure infrastructure in cloud environments and using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience securing Kubernetes services and strong knowledge of network, application, and system security.
• Knowledge of the OWASP Web Top 10 and CWE Top 25.

Nice to have

• AWS Security Specialty certification.
• Five or more years of experience in cloud security.
